As you may see through the video, you can tell that we make each duvet with hearts & souls. Snow Blossom's silk is hand made silk without any chemicals while machine made silk has added softener. Our silk is luxuriously soft to the touch and probably the finest silk in the world. In search of the best silk Natalie had spent long time in China into many different places trying and clarifiying many different types and grades of silk. All Snow Blossom's duvets are hand layered layer upon layer with the finest long mulberry silk. Using this ancient method, the air is trapped in between the layers of silk and makes duvet lofty. (Think of making pastry for cake or pie?). Machine made or filled silk duvet won't have this effect. Our duvets are finished impeccably with our own blossom pattern sewn- through stitching. The duvet has a piped edge all around and the buttons & loops at four corners ready for you to button a different weight of duvet together for added warmth. Every duvet has a zip opening for you to see the quality of silk. Our duvet is then presented to you in a blossom embroidered cotton drawstring bag for tidy storage. The patterns of blossom on the duvet and the bag were designed with free-hand drawing by Natalie to add a personal touch.

Tip: You can save if you buy a combined weights of duvets. The duvet is easily stored away and it doesn't take too much space.
