Transparent from pale to bright yellow in color, with a floral aroma, chrysanthemum tea has many medicinal usage according to Chinese traditional medicine, an aid in recovery from influenza, acne and as a "cooling" herb. Drinking this tea can help preventing sore throat and promoting the reduction of fever. Chrysanthemum tea is also used to treat the tired eyes, and the stress. In western herbal medicine, Chrysanthemum tea is drunk and used as a compress to treat circulatory disorders such as varicose veins and atherosclerosis.
Our Chrysanthemum is the top quality carefully selected and picked the very first crop whilest the flowers were still in buds. You can see from the photo below.
Taste: Nice and refreshing with sweet flora taste.
Directions: Add hot, boiled water into a glass jar with 5-10 Chrysanthemum flower buds, brewing for a few minutes, add rock sugar if you wish, and see the flower buds floating and opening up. Pour the tea into a cup, drink and enjoy!
